Rustic
Hues: Kaisi Madhur
Shyaam - presents an
eclectic collection of folk songs that have been
incorporated into semi-classical Hindustani music like Kajri
– rain songs, Holi – songs sung during the festival
of colours and Chaiti – sung in the ‘Chaitra’
month. In addition, there are bhajans written by mystic
saint-poets like Meera, Bramhanand and Surdas on the theme of
Lord Krishna.
